I have taken part in GoDry for two years now and I am going Dry again this year.

This year my motivation is my friends and family affected by cancer. It seems like everyone eventually gets affected by this disease, whether a loved one, a friend, or themselves. As a university student, alcohol seems like fun and it really is everywhere; but it can be extremely damaging to physical and mental health. I wanted to take this January away from drinking and focus on doing better things for myself and others.
